Hard Drive Data Recovery

i need your help with my usb hard drive its got power socket in the back and Av socket so i can watch the any movie i download and put in but one problem last night i format the hard drive and one or two file gone missing i think last letter is .dll or something like that and its wont work at all without that file can you help please?

It is possible to recover data after a harddrive has been formatted but it is not always possible to recover everything and if you have used the harddrive since this will reduce the chances. However if you do not need any data that was previously on this drive only the setup files you should speak with the manufacturer of the product as they will likely be able to supply the setup files.
